Sorey has a few powers that may affect your character, should you so choose! Please see below for details.


DOMAIN: Current Strength: Low

For characters with strong spiritual senses, they may notice that Sorey has a sort of purifying aura around him, in a bubble, maybe like twenty feet or so. The air smells a little fresher, the water tastes a little better, the atmosphere feels safer; things like that. A domain with Low strength will only provide a sense of gentle peace and tranquility; a domain with Medium strength will feel more like a benign, clear, protective presence; a domain with High strength will feel close to that of a good-aligned demigod, benevolent and caring.

RESONANCE:

Sorey has extremely sharp spiritual sense of his own, particularly of the empath type. He can sense weakness of heart, emotional turmoil and general negativity. He can also usually tell who is nonhuman, and he can see ghosts, spirits, gods and the like. If your character has any extreme trauma or conflicting feelings, he'll be able to see its intensity almost like a dark shroud around their person.

Haggar definitely would count as an already corrupted being, physically, she essentially "died" and revived to become what she is now, she's also really ancient, though mentally she is an amnesiac that's just starting to realize her own origins. She believes wholly in her pursuits, since her ambition was mostly aimed at gaining higher understanding through her connection to life energy, even though by this point she's a twisted person by nature and thus most of her energy seems more attuned to darkness and she doesn't seem to regret much of anything.

I figure by Tales standards she's practically a Daemon due to circumstances, but since she has such a measured and controlled methodology to her, and she's not fully in touch with her own emotions, the nature and root of her spiritual/emotional issues are harder to ping. She tries not to think about them if she's around other people, when she's upset she generally suppresses it and pushes past it to focus on solving another problem.

So Sorey can probably sense that there's a wrongness here, it's complicated. She's complicated, I'm so sorry. She's also not human, corruption aside, she's magic space elf race, not that she goes around announcing that.

Can Sorey sense your character's spiritual state? Yes
How bad/good/what-have-you is your character/how much can Sorey sense? Oh boy. For a sweetheart of a holy man, Libra canonically has a huge, powerful darkness lingering in his heart - that's how it's described by one of the army's dark mages, and it seems like exactly the kind of thing Sorey can probably pick up on. He does his best to represent the kindness and compassion that he sees as being bitterly lacking from a world that cares little for the weak and suffering, and he's wrapped a huge amount of his personal identity around being an ideal holy man, to the point that he's not really sure who he is outside of that, and he's afraid to find out in case his abusive parents were right about him being inherently corrupt deep down.

Anything else? n-no I think that's probably enough. he's a great healer if Sorey ever wants one.
