Sorey has a few powers that may affect your character, should you so choose! Please see below for details.


DOMAIN: Current Strength: Low

For characters with strong spiritual senses, they may notice that Sorey has a sort of purifying aura around him, in a bubble, maybe like twenty feet or so. The air smells a little fresher, the water tastes a little better, the atmosphere feels safer; things like that. A domain with Low strength will only provide a sense of gentle peace and tranquility; a domain with Medium strength will feel more like a benign, clear, protective presence; a domain with High strength will feel close to that of a good-aligned demigod, benevolent and caring.

RESONANCE:

Sorey has extremely sharp spiritual sense of his own, particularly of the empath type. He can sense weakness of heart, emotional turmoil and general negativity. He can also usually tell who is nonhuman, and he can see ghosts, spirits, gods and the like. If your character has any extreme trauma or conflicting feelings, he'll be able to see its intensity almost like a dark shroud around their person.

How bad/good/what-have-you is your character, and how much can Sorey sense? I feel like she's pretty good and neutral most of the time. Mischievous sometimes and stuffs.

As long as its within reason, Sorey can sense as much as he wants. Feel free to poke me if there's anything you're not sure of. I'm pretty flexible tbh :).

Can Sorey sense your character's spiritual state? Yep!
How bad/good/what-have-you is your character, and how much can Sorey sense? Zelda is very much a lawful-good sort of person and she doesn't have an evil bone in her body.

However, Zelda's physical body is currently sealed away with an evil force called Calamity Ganon. This sometimes impacts her dream form and sometimes her dreamotion magic takes the form of Malice. It's fine with me if Sorey senses this in connection with Zelda /gestures vaguely

Oh and also, in Song, Zelda made a soul binding pact with her bff, who just so happened to be a demon. She has a mark on her left shoulder that represents their pact. So Sorey also might be able to sense some kind of evil/demonic energy related to that too (even though her friend wasn't actually that evil).

Anything else? Zelda is descended from a goddess who shed her divinity to take a mortal form. A portion of the goddess's divine powers (and, possibly, her memories) have been passed down matrilineally to her female descendants for eons. If Sorey is capable of sensing divinity in some form, he would be able to sense it in Zelda.

LMAO THANKS!!! Sorey might pick up just that Alisaie is kind of powerful/magical, and she seems like she's kind of come to terms with her more serious/character damaging hangups if she's post Endwalker so he probably wouldn't sense any malevolence either within or around her.

if that changes and you'd like him to notice tho, i'll hit you up!!! like if she gets cursed or smth and u need like idk a bloodhound for bad, im ur dude

i would love it if sorey could pick up on the pact and the malice/dreamotion things both. the latter likely wouldn't be too obvious unless it happened right in front of him, but the former he'd be able to tell just looking at her if that's okay. he'll be ESPECIALLY weirded out since she'll have that goddess juice in there too

Yes! She's post-Endwalker so she definitely has a lot of self-reflection on her part. She does get into situations where she does think about things that she hasn't had time to process, but nothing that's too damaging that would cause her to radiate malevolence, so to say!

How bad/good/what-have-you is your character, and how much can Sorey sense? I'd categorize Link as chaotic good. He's got some big hero vibes, but it's true that his Main Bad Guy is pretty much an incarnation of malice itself, so in dreams/nightmares, that presence might be stronger.

There's a chance this could change after TOTK comes out (and with certain things I have planned in the future), and if it does, I'll check back in at that point.

Anything else? Link's almost never seen without the Master Sword. As the "sword that seals the darkness," it has some sealing/purification properties and is able to alert Link to the presence of malice (by glowing). This hasn't really come up in Song yet. Also, the spirit Fi dwells dormant within the sword. It's possible that Sorey (and Mikleo, too) would be able to sense, maybe in a far-off way, that the sword has some low level of presence within it.

i know it's not really mentioned in BOTW, but do you think link has that kind of 'divinity' feel that comes with being a triforce holder (if that's even applicable) in this version, or not so much? more of a fate and reincarnation cycle than literally having something akin to a god shard?

How bad/good/what-have-you is your character, and how much can Sorey sense?
He's a good person, but one with significant emotional turmoil; a hatred for his father only just recently begun to alleviate, and a devoted love for his mother just as recently shaken. He has been manipulated most of his life for ill intent and for good, and only just made it to the point in his story where that manipulation has been revealed.

Spoilery stuff: He was experimented on as a child without his knowledge, and the full extent of the tampering we do not know yet.

Anything else? He's tall, can use shackling/binding magicks, and has a transformation/boss fight form that can utilize multiple elemental magicks. A few of those attack names are references to emotional instability.

Also, since his story is still ongoing, let me know if you want to avoid spoilers.

i'm pretty familiar with him (tho i haven't caught up to all the sidequests for that yet....i am Afraid of the fights) so I think we're good! i'm also ok with spoilers, no problem. sorey will probably be able to pick up on how he's...technically 'mortal,' but not really if that's ok for you?

he'll probably also see the conflict in his heart (that he has it but not the topics/cause), but it likely won't be too jarring

There are some Suspicious Screenshots of the upcoming game, but there's no mention made of the Triforce at all in botw, so let's err on the side of no for now. I'll update later if that changes!
