[There are two things that appear at Sorey's door: a big thin box, far too tall for a normal present, and a letter tucked into the lid.

The box contains a huge fancy cake, flavored a delicate vanilla (since he has no fucking idea what Sorey likes). The letter is written on fancy stationery and reads as follows:]

Sorey,

I do not know you personally but I understand you lost a friend recently. He was my friend, too, and his cooking was as gentle as his soul. I cannot ever hope to replace him, and I will not try, but I think he would want you to continue eating delicious things in his absence.
